This Thursday, Mayor Ricardo Curutchet together with the Minister of Education of the Province, Alberto Sileoni, municipal and educational authorities and members of the Pampa Foundation participated in the inauguration of the Higher Institute for Technical Training No. 244, a historic event in our city.
The director of the Institute, Joaquín Garitonandía, stressed that it is the “first higher institute clearly owned by Marcos Paz.” “Today all of us who are part of the educational community assume a great task. Among all of us, we will have to start moving this wheel with all the challenges that it implies, with the joy of starting what will soon be the pride of our beloved city”, he affirmed, highlighting that this opening takes place within the framework of the 40th anniversary of democracy.
For his part, Ricardo expressed that today “is a day of joy, an important day for the history of Marcos Paz where we are all protagonists”, and he thanked the contribution that each one made from their place to get here. “There is a new world that has already arrived, we have to question, interpret and solve it and for that we are going to need the effort, creativity, conviction of the Nation, the Province, the municipalities, the public and the private” , he reaffirmed.
In addition, the mayor stated that although this institute begins with two careers, “surely there will be concerns to generate new ones.”
Meanwhile, Sileoni highlighted the role of the mayor and assured that “we like mayors who insist on the welfare of their people.” In turn, he expressed that “if there are 90 registered quickly, it means that there was a vacant need and we thank you for your trust.” “This beloved town today has an educational offer that it did not have, today a door was opened for more rights and we celebrate that,” he concluded.
