Details: During the weekly press conference, Zakharova traditionally dedicated a few minutes of her time to the events in Moldova. This time, she said, allegedly, “the issue of delivering military cargo through the territory of Moldova” to Ukraine is being discussed.
The Russian Federation notes “the consistent transformation of Moldova into a logistical appendage of the Kyiv regime,” and “we have warned official Chisinau more than once about the catastrophic consequences of such steps,” said the speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
To this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova said that Chisinau “will continue to provide our Ukrainian friends with all possible assistance both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations.”
“We condemn the false statements made recently by a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The neutrality of our country does not mean isolation. The authorities are developing partnerships with organizations and states to preserve the peace and security of the country,” they added.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry also noted that it rejects any attempts to undermine efforts to achieve European integration.
