Michal Šima’s Performance at Summer World Championships: 28th Place in 7.5 km Super Sprint Final

Slovak biathlete Michal Šima took 28th place in the 7.5 km super sprint final at the Summer World Championships in Osrblí, losing 2:42.2 minutes to the winner Andrejs Rastogujevs from Latvia. He was the only Slovak among the top 30 on Friday.

In the women’s competition, the Slovaks did not advance to the finals. In Friday’s qualification, Mária Remeňová placed best in the 32nd place. Henrieta Horvátová finished in 36th place, Sára Pacerová finished 41st, and Lea Meszárosová was one position behind her. Marion Wiesensarterová from Germany won the final.
