An American political analyst told “Sky News Arabia” from Washington that the first debate of the Republican Party reflected many indications about Trump’s chances in the upcoming presidential elections, as he is the most fortunate candidate.

And the American political analyst, Mac Sharkawy, believes that Trump is still the favorite among the Republican Party candidates to run in the upcoming presidential elections.
However, Trump may face many obstacles related to his ability to reconcile the time between the trials and his election campaign, which is taking place at the same time, according to Sharkawy.
The American analyst considers the charges against Trump “serious”, especially since the recent accusation related to allegations of election fraud in Georgia is classified as an organized crime case.
But Sharqawi believes that there is an exaggeration on the part of the Democrats about the possible scenarios for the trial, as he does not expect that Trump’s trial will result in his imprisonment, due to the lack of sufficient evidence to prove the accusations that the former president denies in detail.
The spokesman believes that the debate between the Republican candidates reflected sharp differences between the party leaders, which Trump may benefit from in mobilizing votes in his favour.
Trump had announced earlier that he would not participate in any debates within the party, considering that Americans know him well and that there is no need for a public confrontation with any of his competitors in the race for the White House.
According to the CBS News poll, Trump has a 46-point lead over his closest rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (16%).

The primary is a series of state and then national convention elections. Candidates begin to field themselves more than a year before the start of the presidential election.
