Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed yesterday, Thursday, the nature of the work of the leader of the Wagner Military Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, when he offered condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash he was on board.
Putin said in a televised statement during a meeting with the Russian-appointed leader of the Donetsk region, Denis Pushilin, that he had known Prigozhin since the early 1990s.
Putin added that the contribution of Wagner fighters to the war against what he described as “neo-Nazism will not be forgotten.”
