He added, “On August 23, 2023, patrols from the Intelligence Directorate arrested 4 people, according to the following:
The citizen (A.A.) in the Baalbek market area for committing the crimes of kidnapping, shooting at an army patrol, robbery, and drug trafficking and abuse.
The citizen (MA) in Haret Hreik – the southern suburb, for committing robbery and theft crimes, stabbing a person, shooting, drug use, and causing trouble.
The Syrian (M.A.) in the Sabra area – the southern suburb, for committing robbery, drug use and promotion, and shooting. A quantity of kif hashish was seized in his possession.
The Syrian (M.A.) in the Burj Al-Barajneh area – the southern suburb for committing two crimes of drug abuse and causing trouble.”
The statement concluded, “The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was launched with the detainees, under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
