From September, all new and existing EVN customers can take out cheaper electricity and gas offers. The new Optima Garant12 is 22.5 cents net per kilowatt hour for electricity and 9.5 cents net for gas.
For existing customers, such as those customers who have opted for the Optima Garant12 in recent months, the switch results in a price advantage of 15 percent for electricity and 19 percent for gas. An average household with a consumption of 3,500 kWh of electricity and 15,000 kWh of gas saves a total of around 573 euros with the new offer, “although the effects of the federal government’s electricity price brake are not taken into account,” says Herwig Hauenschild, Managing Director of EnergieAllianz Austria GmbH.
According to a press release, the pricing measures that EVN KG is passing on to its customers total a three-digit million figure. The new offer prices all come with a one-year price guarantee and contractual commitment. In this way, customers benefit from price stability over the coming winter.
Existing customers of EVN KG will be informed about the new offer by letter or email in two waves over the next few weeks. EVN Energievertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co KG is part of the EnergieAllianz Group. As an energy sales and energy trading company, the company supplies more than 500,000 household customers with electricity and around 220,000 household customers with natural gas.
