Furthermore, the image shows that the series takes place in Los Angeles, a setting that has not been featured in the Fallout series before. However, this one is fairly close to Las Vegas, where New Vegas is set. There is no definite release date yet.
Amazon announced the series in 2020. Few details are currently known about the series. It is clear that it is being made by Amazon Studios and Kilter Films, and that Fallout developer Bethesda is also participating. The series is being written by writers from Westworld and Silicon Valley, among others.
The series was teased at the gamescom trade show, which takes place in Cologne this week. According to Gamespot the makers showed a trailer in which, among other things, a character can be seen walking out of a Vault and someone who Power Armor wears.
