Tottenham Hotspur are still searching for a striker after selling the Harry Kane talisman to Bayern Munich over a week ago, and it seems Ange Postecoglou has settled on her ideal target.
Tottenham are currently limited in terms of full forwards in their squad, with Richarlison being the only recognized center forward available. However, the Brazilian only scored one goal in the Premier League last season and Spurs are looking for someone a bit more prolific in front of goal.
While the likes of Jonathan David, Gift Orban and Mehdi Taremi have been heavily linked with Tottenham in recent days, it appears Spurs are preparing an offer for another striker from a European team.
VIDEO: Who wins the Premier League this season?
According to soccer agent Morris Pagniello, speaking with a Mexican outlet Halftime, Tottenham are preparing an initial offer of £34m for Feyenoord and Mexico international Santiago Giménez.
“Santi is one of the 10 best players in Europe, there are strikers because they are few and now with the departure of many strikers to Saudi Arabia, there are few left on the market,” he said.
“Then even Tottenham (was interested), many clubs; I have a friend who trains there and there are many clubs that would like to have Santi this season”.

Giménez scored 15 goals in 32 Eredivisie appearances for Feyenoord last season, and although he recently renewed his contract with the Dutch champions, a strong offer from Spurs could tempt them to sell the 22-year-old.
Tottenham certainly have the money too, after raising £86m for the transfer of Kane. Giménez would add more attacking options to Postecoglou’s side, and is a typical number 9 who plays in and around the penalty area with physicality and an eye for goal.
Transfermarkt currently value Gimenez at £22m.
