ED has given time to deliver the documents regarding these. 2.88 lakh in 2016-17 income tax return, 3.98 lakh in 2017-18, 4.08 lakh in 2018-19 and 4.25 lakh in 2019-20 as investment. The total investment declared during the last election was 19.86 lakh, including 18.90 lakh rupees in Thiruvananthapuram Sub-treasury and 27,514 rupees in Bank of India. The ED raid on Moiteen’s house lasted for 22 hours. The investigation team arrived at 7.30 am on Tuesday and returned at 5.30 am yesterday. Moiteen confirmed that the gang took away bank passbooks, aadhaars and fixed deposit documents.
A.C. Moiteen’s house was raided by the ED team investigating the Rs 300 crore fraud committed in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank with the help of CPM leaders. Along with this, there was a raid on the house of 2 other people suspected to be related to Moiteen. Moiteen was reached from the statements of the accused who had been interrogated earlier.
