A garbage truck overturned and crashed this Thursday morning on the Brooklyn – Queens Expressway and complicated traffic in the area.
The accident was reported around 6:00 in the morning at the height of Tillary Street and left 4 people injured.
In addition, traffic on the BQE is practically at a standstill, especially on the eastbound traffic.
The garbage truck overturned and dumped the debris on the traffic lanes.
At 6:30 in the morning, authorities began to remove the vehicles involved from the expressway.
All the injured were reported in stable condition.
Authorities reported that the accident could affect traffic on the Manhattan Bridge.
