Let it go because I’m white, let the engine cool down, Let it go, we’re jumping this bridge, I’m dying of heart. I jumped in the air, you’re killing me”, says the co-pilot, while Pascu was driving at speed.
What do the parents of the young man who caused the May 2 tragedy say?
Miruna and Mihai Pascu, the parents of the 19-year-old boy, reacted through a statement sent to HotNews.ro, in which they say that they are trying to find a balance and offer their support for the necessary medical treatments “to come to the aid of families who are struggling hard” .
They state that there are no words to express their pain and shock caused by this tragedy in which their son was involved, that they understand that nothing can replace a child.
“We seek to find a balance and we want to offer our support and support for the necessary medical treatments to come to the aid of hard-pressed families. We are not trying to absolve our son from the rigors of the law, we are aware of the implications this tragedy will have on his life and we are not trying to shield him from responsibility for his actions”, the parents of the 19-year-old boy state, adding that their soul is desolate and that they live in boundless suffering.
The author of the accident that occurred on the morning of May 2 and resulted in the death of two young people and the injury of three others was identified as 19-year-old Vlad Pascu.
His mother has a real estate business. The boy’s father is passionate about cars.
The photos on the boy’s Instagram account show him in various clothes, which he suggests are from the company, or on an SUV in the parking lot in front of the Palace of Parliament. He also appears with a t-shirt that reads “Drugs are my life”, given that the samples taken immediately after the accident indicated that he was under the influence of several types of drugs.
The boy was remanded in custody for 30 days on Sunday, by the decision of the Mangalia Court. He was a novice driver and had obtained his license in May of this year.
