Devices with the logo of one of the operators used to be quite common. In recent years, they seemed to have completely faded away, but last year T-Mobile came back with its own T Phones. He upgraded them this year and added his own tablet on top, which is unsurprisingly called the T Tablet. It looks very promising, perhaps thanks to the very interestingly set price below the threshold of 6,000 crowns.
The sales package is very modest and in addition to the tablet, you will only find a brief manual and a data cable, which of course is also used for charging. One end has USB-C, the other USB-A. There is only USB-C on the body of the device, it did not reach the 3.5mm jack. However, you can rely on stereo speakers.
At first glance, the tablet is a more ordinary piece of electronics, but in the given price category this is an expected fact. On the contrary, we appreciate the durability of the tablet, which is thus perhaps destined for the hands of children. You will also be attracted by the frames around the display, which are larger for today’s taste, but again, it is true that only more expensive pieces usually have smaller ones. The display itself is of the IPS type and has a sufficiently fine resolution on the 10.4″ diagonal.
The environment is provided by almost pure Android 13 with a decent adjustment for tablets, where, for example, you have quick shortcuts to several applications in the bottom part. However, what is definitely worth mentioning is the unprecedentedly long software support. T-Mobile has promised two big updates, in practice this means that the T Tablet should receive Android 14 and 15. That in itself is not bad at all for an affordable tablet. However, the duration of support within the framework of security patches is supposed to last 7 years, i.e. until 2030! Let’s add that, at least at the beginning, the whole environment is very fast, which we owe not only to the optimization, but also to the Dimensity 700 processor and 6GB of RAM.
A slot for a nanoSIM and a memory card has also been added. If you are fed up with physical cards and like to solve everything over the air, there is even an option to use an eSIM, which is a feature completely unheard of among cheaper tablets. In addition, the T Tablet naturally supports 5G, so you will have a fast enough connection even on the go.
