The Indonesian volleyball national team will face South Korea in the top 12 of the men’s volleyball championship AVC Senior Men’s Championship 2023. Here’s the schedule.
In the previous round, Indonesian volleyball team managed to occupy the runner-up position in Pool C. In the AVC 2023 draw which was carried out later, Farhan Halim cs will face Korea in the round of 12.
Ginseng Country advanced to this round with the title of champion from pool F. From the previous match, South Korea packed two wins in the group stage against Pakistan (3-1) and beat Bangladesh 3-0.
Indonesia itself is ranked second in Pool C after losing to China 2-3 in the first match of the preliminary round and then won over Kazakhstan with a score of 3-2 in the next match.
Now the Indonesian volleyball team is preparing to face South Korea in the round of 12 AVC Championship 2023. The winner of this match has the right to advance to the quarterfinals, facing the winner of the China vs India party.
Manager Loudry Maspaitella has set a target for the Indonesian Volleyball National Team to qualify for the top six. Moreover, the 2023 AVC Championship event is also important in the road to the Olympics. “The 2023 Asian Volleyball Championship is one of the championships to gain points towards the 2024 Olympics,” said Loudry.
