Thanks to the list that is created of “Best friends” you can have a little more privacy because what you post there can only be seen by those people who are part of said list, which can be modified at any time, if you wish.

So, if you happen to see a green circle in the stories of any of your followers, it means that they added you to their “Best Friends” list.

How to activate the green circle on Instagram?

If you want to activate the green circle of Instagram and create your list of “close friends” here we tell you step by step:

You must go to your main instagram page and click on the three-line menu at the top right of your profile screen. Then select where it says “Settings and privacy”. In the “Settings and privacy” menu you will find an option that has a star in a circle and says “Best friends”. You click on “Best Friends” and there the list of all the people you follow will be displayed so you can choose who to have on your list.
