In Zambia, a Dutchman is stuck in connection with the discovery of millions of dollars and gold pieces in a private jet.
The plane flew from Cairo in Egypt to Lusaka in Zambia. In the device, the investigative services found $ 5.7 million in cash, more than 127 kilograms of gold (which turned out to be fake after investigation), five pistols and a large amount of ammunition. The gold pieces turned out to consist of a mixture of other metals, with a coating of gold.

The head of Zambian drug enforcement said at a press conference in Lusaka that ten people had been arrested. In addition to the Dutchman, there are six Egyptians, a Zambian, a Spaniard and a Latvian.
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is aware of the matter. “We provide consular assistance to the person concerned,” said a spokesperson. The millions of dollars and the plane have been confiscated. The money has been placed with the Bank of Zambia.
