A terrible house was destroyed in Ambohimarina village, Andrefan’ivohitra municipality, Antsirabe I, last Saturday afternoon. A big house was destroyed by fire, nothing could be taken from this house because everything was destroyed by fire. No one was in the house at that time but they went to Ambohibary to attend to a family matter according to the owner. No one noticed the punishment of the people on hand, but a passing car saw the smoke and alerted the neighbors. The community tried to put out the fire, but the fire was visible and it was very difficult to put it out. It took two hours for the community to control the fire. The community tried to call the emergency department in Antsirabe, but the latter said that no one answered the call even though the call was made. This caused frustration for the community because the ambulance was in the most needed position but its whereabouts were not found. In addition to the burning of all the items in the house, the victim said that more than 1 million aryi was burned in the fire, along with several valuable jewelry and a single flag. According to the information provided by the house owner, the accident may have been caused by a high voltage because the power of the “fil” working in their house is relatively weak, JIRAMA confirmed this after looking at the root cause of the damage. The surprising thing is that these families have been living in this house for more than 13 years, but there was no fire like this.
