WhatsApp re-launched new features for Android and iOS devices. This time it allows users to edit text or captions on various types of media messages such as images, videos, GIFs and documents.
This text editing feature has a time limit, where edits can only be made within 15 minutes after sending the message and only from the device that first sent the message.
This capability allows users to correct their message after it has been sent and increases the clarity and context of the message.

This new feature offers the flexibility to enhance text for images, documents, and more, contributing to a better chat experience.
Users can access this feature by updating WhatsApp to the latest version on both platforms. Despite some delays, this feature is now widely available. Users can check their availability by tapping and holding on the recently sent message.
How to Use the Text Message Edit Feature:
Make sure you have installed the latest version of WhatsApp on your device.Open the chat you just sent a message with text.Touch and hold a specific message with text.If the feature is enabled, you will see the “Edit Caption” option appear.Select the “Edit Caption” option “.Make desired changes to the text.Make sure you edit within 15 minutes of sending the original message.Confirm and save changes.
