The Future of the War in Ukraine: Analyst Predicts Potential Turning Point

Not only Ukrainians themselves are tired of the war started by Russia in Ukraine, but also observers of the war. When could the war end?

In the TV24 program “About the war in Ukraine with Igor Rajev”, military analyst Igor Rajev admitted that, unfortunately, he cannot please, because, in his opinion, the war in Ukraine will not end this year.

“But I really hope it ends in the second half of next year,” he added.

Rajev points out that Ukraine is now throwing its last forces into the battles, which were intended to carry out a counterattack. Even if the Ukrainians manage to advance and achieve some tactical success, they will not be able to liberate Crimea. It will also not be possible to go to the Sea of Azov and liberate the entire Lugansk region.

A military analyst explains that a Ukrainian counterattack will be followed by a Russian attack in the winter. According to him, the Ukrainians will manage to hold on. After that, a new Ukrainian counterattack will follow.

“This could be the turning point in this war,” Rajev concluded.
