Federal police officers checked a man and a woman at the lockers in Dresden Central Station on Saturday afternoon. In advance, the two had repacked and sorted several filled travel bags for which there were no receipts.

Dresden. On Saturday afternoon, the federal police checked a man and a woman at the lockers in Dresden Central Station. The two had repacked and sorted several filled travel bags in advance. Since the overall situation seemed suspicious to the officers, they decided to take a closer look at the duo and their bags.

The bags contained large quantities of drugstore items such as baby food, detergent, cosmetics and care products. The two Czechs could not produce receipts or invoices for the products. New items of clothing from a shop on nearby Prager Strasse were also found in the man’s backpack. Again, he could not produce an invoice. There was damage of around 2,000 euros.
The two have to answer for the particularly serious case of theft.
