Various players have already left Eintracht Frankfurt this summer. Will Kristijan Jakic also turn his back on SGE?
Frankfurt – Few Bundesliga clubs have been as active in the current transfer window as Eintracht Frankfurt. And the planning is not likely to be complete yet, something could still happen on both the outgoing and the incoming side.

Eintracht clearer Jakic as endo replacement to Stuttgart?
Media reports recently made the rounds that the SGE should have an offer for striker Rafael Borre. Randal Kolo Muani, courted by Paris-Saint Germain, who was in the French capital for talks last week, could still leave Eintracht.
On Monday (21 August) reported the kicker and Sky also that VfB Stuttgart has their eye on Kristijan Jakic. The Croatian, who can play almost any position in defence, is planned to succeed ex-captain Wataru Endo, who has moved to Liverpool.

Kristijan Jakic and VfB Stuttgart are currently in talks
Talks between the club and the player are said to be ongoing, Jakic himself is not averse to a change. However, some points still need to be clarified. Due to the tight VfB coffers, there is probably a loan with a subsequent purchase option in the room, but the two clubs should not yet be in exchange.
Although the defensive midfielder has played in 75 competitive games since moving to Main in 2021, he has rarely been an undisputed regular player. Jakic held various positions, helping out in the back three as well as in external defense or on the six. In the 1-0 win over Darmstadt 98 on Sunday, he was substituted on after a few minutes for the ailing Sebastian Rode.

Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller praises Kristijan Jakic’s flexibility
Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller appreciates his flexibility, but he also said recently: “Kristijan has the advantage for a coach that he is very polyvalent. Sometimes it’s not so cool for a player to be pushed from one position to another.”
In Stuttgart, Jakic should probably act primarily as a six, but could also appear a row behind. After all, central defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is said to be about to move to England, and according to media reports, the contract with West Ham United is expected to be signed in the near future.
