Blockchain game Axie Infinity (AXS) has become the most profitable project on the launchpad of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. This is stated in the study CoinGecko.
At the peak, the profitability of the project increased by 1649 times compared to the starting price of the tokens. So, on November 6, 2021, the price of AXS rose to a peak of $164.90 from $0.1.
All top 10 projects launched in 2021
Polygon (MATIC) became the second most profitable project – the price of the token increased 1100 times from a starting price of $0.00263. On December 27, 2021, the token was trading at $2.92. The Sandbox metaverse ranked third with a 1,008x return on a token starting price of $0.008333. The token was trading at a maximum price of $8.40 on November 25, 2021.
The tokens of seven other projects from the top 10 rose in the range of 113-839 times. Nine of those ten projects reached their all-time highs at the end of 2021, in line with the broader market rally.
How did the profitability of projects change in 2022 and 2023
All seven launchpad projects, launched in 2022 and 2023, generated returns ranging from 11 to 411 times the initial investment at their peak. StepN (GMT) has become the most successful project in the last two years, increasing the initial investment by 411 times. With a starting price of $0.01, GMT peaked at $4.11 on April 28, 2022.
The Alpine F1 Team Fan (ALPINE) token generated the lowest return among projects on Binance, recording a net profit of 11 times the initial token price of $1 and peaking at $11.29.
At the same time, recent projects on the Binance launchpad have been less profitable. The rest of the projects showed approximately the same profitability: Space ID (ID) and Hooked Protocol (HOOK) showed 41x growth, League of Kingdoms (LOKA) 34x and Open Campus (EDU) 33x. Arkham’s latest project (ARKM) generated 16x revenue at its peak.
