35 year old Irish fighter published on social networks a series of audio messages in which he stated that he was not allowed to return to the octagon.
“They don’t let me fight in December. I feel like I’m being deprived of my livelihood. But I’m not going to be offended, I will attack. I was going to fight and announced that the fight would take place on December 16th. But I don’t think that will happen. I will continue to do my job. Hope to see you early next year. But I’m ready to fight on December 16, if there are suddenly those who want to, ”said McGregor.
McGregor was scheduled to fight American Michael Chandler at the UFC in December, but did not pass the mandatory doping test. The fight was supposed to take place at lightweight.
McGregor last entered the octagon in July 2021 and was defeated by technical knockout in a fight with American Dustin Poirier. After that, he spent a long time recovering from a broken leg. In total, the Irishman in MMA has 22 wins with six defeats.
