Former Slovak football player Marek Hamšík Gives Statement to Police Regarding Allegations of Illegal Robbery and Revenge

Former Slovak football player Marek Hamšík (36) gave a statement to the police on Monday. He came accompanied by his lawyer.

According to the information, the former partner on him Awnings filed a criminal complaint that he allegedly illegally robbed her of half of the share in the Bounce Park sports complex in Banská Bystrica, which they founded together.

“He (Hamšík) sees it completely differently. He says this lady owed him some money and didn’t want to pay him. He deducted this debt from her share. The police do not want to comment on the case yet. It is also because it is in the very beginning. Investigators are only questioning people for now,” says reporter Markízy.

According to the source, Hamšík claims that this is revenge, because another criminal prosecution for embezzlement is being conducted against the former partner in connection with the mentioned sports complex.
