Sony’s PlayStation 5 is part of the ninth generation of home consoles and is clearly very popular among gamers. Last July, Sony announced that it had sold more than 40 million units of the PS5 globally. Furthermore, the company also noted that it has overcome the console shortage during its early years and consumers can choose either the disc version or the digital version.
Moreover, Sony has a number of AAA titles in the pipeline when it comes to upcoming titles. This includes Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a direct sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The console will also come with a number of third-party titles, such as Mortal Kombat 1, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Crew Motorfest, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and more.
Another reason why you should be interested in choosing the PS5 is game streaming. The company has finally started testing PS5 Cloud Gaming services. Reports indicate that the service is currently being rolled out to a limited number of users and will be part of the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription service. It will apparently allow PS5 game streaming in 4K, which is very important since its closest competitor, Xbox Cloud Gaming, doesn’t offer 4K streaming yet.
