To apply, you will need to submit a visa application form (available on the website Service-Public.fr), your passport as well as a copy of its first page, a nominative certificate of travel insurance / repatriation insurance, two identity photos, a certificate of accommodation dating from less than three months (and produced by the town hall of the place where you will be staying in Algeria or a hotel reservation) as well as proof of resources.
The visa is not the only document to slip into your suitcase. A passport valid for more than six months after the date of the visa application is also required. It should also be noted that when entering and leaving Algerian territory, the visitor must make a declaration of currency for any amount greater than or equal to one thousand euros.
