JAKARTA – Animal 8-legged is certainly not a stranger anymore. Several types of these animals live around humans. Some are poisonous, some are used as food.
One type of eight-legged animal that is quite popular comes from the arachnid group. This group has distinctive characteristics besides the number of legs. For example, like its segmented body, most are predators, and have no wings or antennae.
Apart from arachnids, there are also other types of arthropods. There are at least seven 8-legged animals that are close to human life. Here’s the review.

1. Scorpions
Scorpion are animals belonging to the type of arachnids. They have eight legs and the body is divided into two main parts, namely the cephalothorax which is the head and chest, and the abdomen which is the tail.
2. Box
Reporting from Animals Quarters, ticks also include eight-legged animals. What sets ticks apart from other arachnids is that these tiny animals have six legs when they are in the larval stage. The next two legs only grow when they reach the adult stage.
