The Norwegian Breakaway is a ship of the Breakaway class and was built in the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg until 2013 and last renovated in 2018. It is 326 meters long and 52 meters wide. The ship can accommodate up to 3,963 passengers and 1,657 crew members. This makes Norwegian Breakaway one of the larger ships in Norwegian Cruise Line’s fleet. The maximum speed is 23 knots.
The choice of restaurants is very diverse. In addition to the included main restaurants and the buffet, various specialty restaurants are available (for a surcharge).
There is a lot of variety on board, for example the Aqua Park with slides, a high ropes course and the evening shows in the theater. There is also musical entertainment in the bars and lounges. Norwegian Breakaway features an outdoor promenade deck where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll with views of the ocean anytime.
The variety of cabins is also varied. The studio cabins were specially designed for single travelers.
