The Ministry of Architecture and Construction is sure that in Belarus one can save up for an apartment in about 6.4 years. This was stated Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction Alexander SHVAYUNOVtransmits BELTA.
He specified that it would take just 6.4 years to save up for an apartment with a total area of 54 square meters. “According to the calculations of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, with the cost of 1 square meter of housing equal to 2,566.9 Belarusian rubles,” the deputy minister explained.
According to him, necessary measures are being taken in Belarus at all levels so that the cost of housing construction with state support does not exceed the level of the average salary in the country. And he said that in recent years, the average salary has been growing faster than a residential “square” built with state support.
