GOES – Several emergency services, including the Mobile Medical Team, were deployed to a medical emergency in the center of Goes on Sunday evening. The bet attracted a lot of attention.
Around 7.20 pm things went wrong on a terrace on the Bleekveld. Several ambulances and police units were immediately sent to the scene. Several civilian aid workers were also called in. Due to the nature of the incident, the Rotterdam trauma helicopter was also called up fairly quickly. It landed about 20 minutes after the call at the bus stops at Goes station.
The doctors treated the patient. He was then taken to the hospital in Goes under police escort with the doctor and nurse from the Mobile Medical Team. The bet attracted a lot of attention.
