The UEFA Champions League Group Phase is just around the corner and almost all of its guests are ready to start a new contest in the most prestigious club tournament on the Old Continent.
So far there are 26 teams already qualified for this round of the tournament, all defined several months ago by what was done in their national leagues last season, however, UEFA reserves six spots for the event for teams that shone in some competitions lower-ranking locations.
For this reason, these teams, some champions, must go through a longer path of one or four rounds to finally be able to face the ‘heavyweights’ of Europe.
With the first three rounds already resolved, there are 12 teams left alive, which will play six round-trip direct elimination series, and if they win them they will have achieved the desired objective.
These meetings will take place over the next two weeks, more specifically on August 22, 23, 29 and 30, all to prepare the 32 clubs that will be present in the draw on Thursday, August 31 and thus define the eight groups of the fair
