23-Year-Old Singer Takes Steps Towards His Musical Dream

At the age of 23, he lives a very sweet moment after the publication of his first video clip: a version of the song El perdedor, by Enrique Iglesias. A young man who confesses that since he was little he was very clear about what he wanted to be. Although it does not seem like an easy world, especially today, Adrián Rodríguez is taking small steps to achieve his great dream of being a singer.

This musical work places Adrián on stage and from now on his desire is to be able to continue maturing as an artist after the production together with the company Sky Sound from Gasteiz for the recording of the video that took place a few weeks ago in Neverondo, near the Mount Mugarra. The durangarra confesses that he really liked this production, which in a few days has exceeded several thousand views, a fact that fills the young artist with satisfaction. “I am very happy with the result and I also see that he is enjoying it”Add.

A video that is released as the culmination of a long process that started in 2022 when Adridunax –the stage name of the young singer– decided to publish an album with five songs. Among them was Enrique Iglesias’ version of the song El perdedor. A job that was possible thanks to the help of a friend who opened the doors of the Berriz recording studio for him..

This first job is giving him a closer look at a world that he has always dreamed of. “Since I was little I did not stop singing, on the street, at home, music has accompanied me all my life,” he recalls. As for his musical style, he confesses that his idols, in addition to Enrique Iglesias, are also Pablo López, Antonio Orozko, Leiva… “I am more of voice and piano”he points out, although he does not rule out turning to reggaeton or commercial pop.

a record company

Now after the first album and the call from a record company from Algeciras, White Music, Adrián thinks about moving forward in this race, although he acknowledges that it will be easy. “They contacted me and told me that they would cover the expenses derived from the video clip and the next productions,” confesses Adrián. For this reason, he is already in contact with a representative from Mexico with the aim of being able to shape a new song, after the successful version of El perdedor. “It would be with unpublished lyrics and music for the next job,” according to him.

Although, in addition to continuing to advance in his budding musical career, Adrián also wants to achieve another goal. “I would like to make myself known in Durango and surroundings and be able to offer concerts here”remember.

Interpretation

Adrian points out that he will continue to give his best to be able to live from musica, although at the moment he is also seeking to make his way in other fields of interpretation. He has recently taken a dubbing course, something that arouses his interest, especially if he is targeting children’s series. “I have been working with two representations for children, specifically Masha and the Bear and Paw Patrol”.

But his dedication to the world of acting began very small, in every corner of the central neighborhood of Txatxiena in Durango where he was born. AND when he could, he did not hesitate to participate in the traditional representations of Holy Week, specifically in the Passion. There he has represented different roles in the six years that he has been taking part, but above all he has figured as a people. In this setting, in the Plaza de Santa Ana de Durango, Adrián would also like to evolve, but without actually playing Jesús, because he, he confesses, is a “very leading role and with a lot of responsibility”. Yes, the young artist confesses that he would not mind at all if he could give life to Judas.

For now, this summer he is savoring the success of his first audiovisual work, while he thinks about how to shape his next proposal and thus take small steps in his musical career.
