Doctor’s Warning Ignored: Nurse Lucy Letby Responsible for Killing Newborn Babies

While her story continues to occupy millions around the world, the chief pediatrician at the Countess of Chester Hospital blew up a shocking surprise about nurse Lucy Letby, who is responsible for killing many newborn babies over the years.

Dr Ravi Jayaram confirmed that he and other doctors had warned NHS managers of the concerns about Letby months before the police called her.

He added that executives told him to put his concerns aside and even asked him to apologize to the nurse at a mediation meeting, ITV News reported.

“Save Babies Before It’s Too Late”

Jayram, whose testimony helped convict the “infant incest”, said he believed many babies’ lives could have been saved if his suspicions had been dealt with urgently by hospital chiefs, before she became the worst infant-killing nurse in UK history.

ITV News has seen a letter to Letby, allegedly written under duress by advisers: Dear Lucy, We would like to apologize for any inappropriate comments which may have been made during this difficult period. We are very sorry for the stress and upset you have experienced last year. Please be assured that patient safety has been our absolute priority during this difficult time.

Lucy, 33, was convicted of killing five boys and two girls at the Countess of Chester Hospital and attacking other newborn babies while working mostly night shifts in 2015 and 2016.

The penalty is life

She also poisoned some of her infant victims by injecting them with insulin, prosecutors told the jury on Friday.

Others I killed by injecting air or forcibly poking milk into their mouths.

It is noteworthy that the verdict on Letby will be issued next Monday, while she faces a very long prison sentence, which may reach life.
