A 14-year-old boy would have lost his life after intervening in a fight that broke out at a party in the Poey neighborhood, in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, Havana.
According to various online sources, the minor died during the early hours of this Friday, August 18, although no further details about the cause of his death have been revealed.
The minor, born on February 14, 2009, was identified as Anthony Agustín Amaro Rodríguez, and his departure caused a commotion in networks, with several of his acquaintances regretting what happened.
“My first godson, how sorry I am for your departure, my transparent child! It was something insurmountable. Only I and the world know that it was treasonous, because there is no one who can beat you in front of you ”, wrote the Internet user Alianna Cárdenas on her social networks.
Another Internet user claimed to have spoken to the minor, warning him about the dangers of keeping the wrong company.
“My child, asere, I have spoken to you a thousand times. I told you that the environment does not give…, I promise to always remember you as the best minor of Poey, my pesao, the one who always screwed me over ”, reads another publication shared by the Internet user Wendy Peraza.
According to people close to the family, the body of the minor was veiled this Friday at the Mauline funeral home, in Arroyo Naranjo.
While the Castro authorities deny that the Island is going through an increase in insecuritymore and more complaints like these are shared online, which paints a very different picture from the one given by the official discourse.
In June, a similar case was learned, in which a teenager was attacked by several young women at a party that took place in Villa Clara.
According to the influencer ‘A thinking asere Brian Infante’, the murder registered in the Condado neighborhood, in the city of Santa Clara.
The young man would have been talking in the street with a friend at dawn, when he was interrupted by a gang member from the area. He would have taken out a machete to attack the victim, while he called other people who were nearby to join the attack.
After the victim’s friend began to scream that she had died, the attackers escaped from the area, presumably being arrested over the following days.
