When Marc-Marie asks Isa about her old age, the actress admits that she would like to stay with her children as long as possible. “The ideal image is that you can live with your children for a long time.” Besides that she would just find that ‘very nice’, she especially likes it ‘to be with young people’. “A little commotion in your life,” she explains.
Still, Isa would like a bit of privacy: “You would like to have your own place. I don’t really want to live in their house. This is a kind of dream scenario that is probably not possible.” She does not say whether her children are open to this. In any case, Isa would think it fair. “I’ve taken care of them too. I wouldn’t mind at all if they did something for me in my old age.” Yet Isa’s children, Merlin and Butterfly, may still be able to breathe a sigh of relief because she may not be moving in with them at all. “Of course I don’t know how I feel. Maybe I want to keep to myself for a long time. I have no idea yet.”
In addition to Isa, Marc-Marie has already made plans for his old age. “My favorite image is in a big house with a number of friends and then buying care yourself. That you make a kind of retirement home yourself. But with whom and what then, is also quite complicated.”
