Malayalam Mission language teacher Satish led the way. About twenty five teachers participated. Training was given in four parts of Kanikonna. Around 25 teachers participated in the training to give classes to around 700 children of the Malayalam Mission Club, which was formed for the first time in the world under the Malayalam Mission Ajman Chapter. The training was a separate model of learning activities through songs and games. The world’s first Malayalam Mission Club was inaugurated by Minister Saji Cherian at Ajman Habitat School. Since Malayalam was made the official language, Malayalam is essential for work and other things for the children returning home, so hundreds of children join the Malayalam mission to acquire language proficiency through the Kutti Malayalam project. Currently, Malayalam Mission is conducting four courses. Kanikonna is the primary course of the Malayalam Mission. Anyone who has completed 6 years of age can join the certificate course (2 years). Then Diploma (2 years), Higher Diploma (3 years) and Senior Higher Diploma (3 years) can be followed sequentially.
