The Head of Entertainment Authority Teases Surprises with Egyptian Artist Ahmed Ezz

It is noteworthy that the Cairo International Film Festival has decided to award the Egyptian artist Ahmed Ezz the Faten Hamama Award for Excellence, and this is during the activities of the 45th session, which is scheduled to be held between the 15th and 24th of November 2023, and this is in appreciation of his art throughout his career.

The artist, Ezz, commented on this event, saying: “When the artist, Hussein Fahmy, the president of the festival, spoke to me about my choice of honor from the Cairo Film Festival, I was very happy, because he is a great artist who loved what he presented to art, and he is my role model. The great Hussein Fahmy.

He also continued his speech, saying: “The news of the honor in itself is a message that occurred at the right time to encourage me for the next, as I see that I have not presented everything yet, and my relationship with the Cairo Festival began from my very beginnings, as it is an opportunity to meet the filmmakers and a very important event that gives value to the artist as well as the film industry. And I hope that my honor will be the beginning of giving everything that is best.”
