Riyadh: The football fair organized by Riyadh Kerala XI has started with 16 teams registered in Riyadh Indian Football Association (RIFA). Team Riyadh Blasters defeated Brothers Kalikav in the first match of The Rub Medi Zen King Cup Kerala XI tournament and Pravasi Sporting FC won the second match after overcoming the strong Focus Line.
Azizia Soccer defeated Shooters Kerala in the third match, Blasters FC Vazhakad defeated Sporting FC in the fourth match, Red Star FC defeated Red Star FC in the fifth match and Lantern FC defeated Red Star FC in the sixth match. Rainbow Soccer were also winners after beating Mansoor Rabia.
Team Sulai FC defeated Black and White FC in the seventh match and dominated Obayar FC in the eighth match and Youth India Soccer entered the second round of the tournament. These eight teams will meet in the quarter finals.
In the inaugural match, The Rub Medicine CEO Liakat, Mohammad Kutty, Anas Riaz, Club Patron Jafar Kalladikode, President Salam, Manager Kuttan Babu and Convener Zakir Kalpakanchery got to know the players. Abdullah Vallanchira, Saifu Karulai and Mustafa Kawwai Nasr were the special guests.
