TVEven four years after the last episode, the lawyer series ‘Suits’ still manages to win over viewers. The series is now at the top of the weekly streaming ranking of Nielsen, a renowned viewing service, for the fourth consecutive week. That reports ‘Variety’.
When the series, in which Meghan Markle also plays, recently appeared on Netflix, it immediately caused a viewing explosion. They were completely under the spell again, especially in the United States. In the week from June 26 to July 2, it collected a whopping 3.14 billion minutes of viewing time, which was the highest number ever. But the success did not stop there.
The lawyer series – which is streamed on Netflix and Peacock – has now surpassed 3 billion minutes of viewing time for the fourth consecutive week, giving ‘Suits’ a top spot. In the week of July 17 to 23, the legal drama series could therefore count on no less than 3.88 billion minutes of viewing time. Thanks to that crazy number, the series now ranks 13th in the list of highest-grossing streaming weeks ever since Nielsen started measuring streaming numbers in 2020, according to Variety. ‘Suits’ also took 14th, 15th and 27th place in this ranking.
However, Nielsen’s streaming ratings only cover viewers who watched the series on television sets. Computers or other mobile devices are not included.
