El Mañana / Staff.- The Animal Rescue and Adoption Foundation asks the community in general to donate bottles of plastic to be able to crystallize the project of making recycled roofs that will serve in the pet sanctuary and protect the animals from the strong sun rays.

Mayte Pineda, head of FRYAM reported that in the animal sanctuary there is refugio abandoned animals and seek to make roofs with plastic.
- In the sanctuary there are more than 250 petsamong dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, opossums, raccoons, turtles and more that have been abandoned and are cared for by the foundation.
Donation of 2.5 liter soda or water bottles is required to form the roofs.
“We need your support to do this roof project for the sanctuary; we need a lot of cans because we want them for several roof areas, we bring the recycling project plastic that damages our ecosystem and that we can reuse it by giving a utility to that material that will benefit those who have no voice, paint the inside of the bottles and make roofs that serve as shade for this intense heat,” he said.
Donations can be taken to the FRYAM facilities, Las Fuentes branch, in the Rodríguez neighborhood or in Rincón de las Flores.
