The fantasy festival ANNOTOPIA, which is taking place for the third time this weekend in Bad Mergentheim (Main-Tauber-Kreis), promises a weird world full of magic. It starts on Friday evening with a little warm-up at 6:30 p.m., until Sunday you can experience pure fantasy.
From dinosaurs to orcs to Star Wars
The motto this year is “Your dreams await you!” when dinosaurs, characters from Star Wars, fairies, elves, dwarfs, Vikings, pirates, Romans, knights or even orcs from Lord of the Rings shake hands in the park of the Residenzschloss . A total of around 700 people from all over Europe take part in the productions at the fantasy festival. Spectacular vehicles, such as those from the film Mad Max, will also drive through the park.

Large supporting program planned
In addition to many great costumes, visitors can expect a mix of acting, magic, juggling, magic and acrobatics. Numerous musical acts will also perform on the main stage. There will also be various hands-on offers and of course a fantasy market. Organizer Marc Mense aka “Professor Abraxo” is again expecting around 10,000 visitors to the castle park over the whole weekend this year. With around 8,000 visitors, his expectations were exceeded last year.
