I promised myself to always wear sunscreen, but on this particular day, I didn’t bring it. I had thought we would spend the whole day only in bus and factory building. However, it turned out that you will have to walk quite a lot outside, where there was a heat of 32 degrees and “radioactive” UV radiation, characterized by a round index – 10.
I had never experienced such crazy burning before, but this was nowhere near the most impressive number I heard that day. The most impressive was 900,000 – that’s how many devices are produced in one day at this “Samsung” factory.
This was a dream of mine for a long time, and I regularly “poked” Samsung representatives for the opportunity to visit the factory. Not only is it exciting for us tech fans to look into, but it’s also really educational for others, as it gives us a much better understanding of both how a smartphone actually comes into being and how big business works.
This year, this “poking” was unexpectedly crowned with success, because when the new smartphones “Flip 5” and “Fold 5” were presented, “Samsung” decided to hold a press event in Seoul. And if media representatives from all over the world have come so far, then it is logical to take them to the factory as well.
