The Pokémon Company International revealed today that Scarlet and Purple-Paradoxical Gapthe new expansion for the hit Pokémon Trading Card Game, will go on sale starting November 3, 2023 at participating retailers around the world.
Inspired by the Paradox Pokémon from the video games Pokémon Scarlet y Pokemon Purplethe expansion Scarlet and Purple-Paradoxical Gap will introduce Pokémon and Trainer cards from the past and the future, as announced during the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. Pokémon from the past embody strength and power, often have direct attacks that deal high damage, and are harder to Knock Out. For their part, the Pokémon of the future make use of speed and technique, and often have abilities and attacks with additional effects that allow for cunning maneuvers and elaborate strategies. Also, Trainer cards from the past help Pokémon from the past, while Trainer cards from the future help Pokémon from the future.

Additionally, prior to the release of the physical version, Trainers will be able to play withParadoxical Gap in digital format through the app JCC Pokémon Live for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices starting November 2, 2023. By signing in to the app, you can collect and battle new Pokémon from the past and future. They will also receive in-game bonuses.
