“There’s someone behind me imitating a bee“. Curious but true… Wednesday evening, on the side of Cincinnati, Stefanos Tsitsipas was disturbed by a strange noise. While chasing an insect with his racket, the Greek was mocked by a woman in the audience. When serving, it made bee noises. Annoyed, Tsitsipas complained to the chair umpire before going to see the public. After an announcement, the culprit apologized and allowed play to resume. A rather surreal scene which did not amuse the 4th in the world.

Nothing to prevent Stefanos Tsitsipas to reach the knockout stages. Solid, he mastered Ben Shelton, 7-6(3), 7-6(2). For a place in quarters, the Greek will rub shoulders with Hubert Hurkacz this Thursday evening.
