London, Aug 17 (EFE).- Arsenal has Kieran Tierney, who has been linked in recent days with Newcastle United, Real Sociedad and Celtic Glasgow.
The Scottish full-back, who has never established himself as a starter at Arsenal, fell off the list in the game against Nottingham Forest last weekend and could be on the club’s exit ramp, although the Ukrainian’s physical problems Oleksandr Zinchenko could stop him.
“He played in the Community Shield, right? A player who was playing a final five days ago is part of the plans, of course,” Mikel Arteta said at a press conference on Thursday.
Zinchenko has not been able to participate in the preseason, but he is already training, as well as Jurrien Timber’s long-term injury, which has torn his cruciate ligament.
Added to this is the possible departure of Nuno Tavares, for whom Nottingham Forest made an offer this week. EFE
