Around 9 am on the 17th, there was an accident involving seven cars, including passenger cars and trucks, on the inbound line of the Chugoku Expressway in Suita City, Osaka, and one of them overturned.
According to the fire department, 11 people were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital.
Approximately 15 minutes after this accident, another accident involving four cars occurred at another location about 1.5 kilometers away on the same inbound line, and four people were injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fire department, none of the 15 people who were injured are life-threatening.
According to the Road Traffic Information Center, the accident sites were between the Suita Interchange and the Toyonaka Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway.
Police are investigating the details.
