As rated by Comex on the New York Mercantile Exchange, December traded at USD1,923.05 an ounce at time of writing, down by 0.63%.
It was previously trading on a session low of USD1,922.65 an ounce. It may find support at USD1922.65 and resistance at USD1963.50.
The dollar index futures, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.27% to trade at USD103.38.
Meanwhile on Comex, September fell 0.82% to trade at USD22.47 a troy ounce while September fell 0.59% to trade at USD3.65 a pound.
