Political communication expert Effendi Gazali provided a name suggestion for the coalition supporting Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election. Effendi proposed the name ‘Kibar’ for the Gerinda, PKB, PAN and Gerindra coalitions.
“When we entered the 4 (party) coalition, what was the name? You can do this, don’t make a carnival, it turns out that we are going backwards, even though the meaning is good. You can wave it,” said Effendi in the Adu Perspective collaboration event. detikcom with Total Politics, Wednesday (16/8/2023).
Effendi then explained that Kibar stands for. What’s that?
“The Arise Coalition Continues to Work for the Great Indonesia Mandate,” said Effendi.
“The Arise, Rise Coalition must exist, because from the beginning. Work, but if you are afraid to work, (so) continue to work for the mandate of Indonesia Raya,” he said.
Then what is the name of the coalition if PSI decides to join. This is Effendi’s answer.
“So don’t you (join)? If you’re sure, we’ll add it,” Effendi joked.
PAN politician Abdul Hakim Bafagih who attended the event welcomed the name proposal Effendi Gazali. He said the proposal could be submitted to the coalition.
“I agree with Bung Effendi earlier, it’s fun to call it Kibar, who knows we can convey it to the stakeholders,” said Hakim.
