At the end of the summer, Aminata released a lyrically dynamic song, the first part of the title of which calls for spicy food, but the second part, in parentheses, puts the meaning of the song on the shelves – “Paved mani (Closer to myself)”.
The song “Paved mani (Closer to me myself)”, light in mood, but energetic in rhythms, is one of the harbingers of Aminata’s new album “Savvalias päše”, which is expected this fall. Its authors are Aminata, Kristaps Ārglis and Mikus Frišfelds, producers – Kristaps Ārglis and DJ Rudd. The song was created while thinking about internal changes and the search for one’s true self. “The change and revision of values inevitably enters every life, but with it, the door opens to a new and wide world, where you have to look for your stopping points. It is clear that you want to live differently, but how exactly, you still have to understand, you have to find the right path, the right people,” explains Aminata.
The new single will be included in the upcoming autumn album “Savvalias päše”, which was released in 2022 in EP or mini-album format, but this year has been supplemented and will be released as a full-length masterpiece. “During the creation of “Wild Side”, I experimented a lot, working with different authors and applying elements of different genres to myself. While creating the album, I felt relaxed and feminine, so it seems that in this album I have blossomed and got to know new sides of myself,” thinks Aminata.
The first public premiere of the album “Savvalias päše” will take place on October 27, when Aminata invites her listeners to a meeting at the “Palladium” concert hall. “Inspired by the concert last year and people’s positive feedback, together with the team we decided to organize a big solo concert this year as well,” says Aminata, “I want to provide a music festival for both my listeners and myself as often as possible!”. The upcoming concert will feature well-known songs as well as works that will be premiered.
