“The container ship “Joseph Schulte” (Hong Kong flag) left the port of Odesa and is traveling along the temporary corridor established for civilian ships from and to the Black Sea ports of Ukraine,” the minister announced.
The ship was in the port of Odessa since February 23, 2022.
The weight of the cargo exceeds 30 tons – that’s 2114 containers. The ship also carries food.
“First of all, the corridor will be used for the evacuation of ships that were in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odessa and Pivdenny at the time of the full-scale invasion of Russia,” the statement said.
